Australian Red Cross works with 14 prioritised Red Cross National Societies across Asia and the Pacific. We are seeking technical specialists to develop best practice training content in key WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene) components. This process will involve consultation with relevant global practitioners to develop a practical, high quality suite of WASH in development project modules.
The successful candidate/s will build upon the experience and lessons learned from applying existing WASH tools and approaches. The modules Australian Red Cross is seeking to develop are:
Household Water Treatment, Storage & Handling
Environmental Sanitation (emphasising vector control)
Community Led Total Sanitation (urban/rural contexts)
Protection, Gender & Inclusion in WASH
Menstrual Hygiene Management in WASH
WASH Needs assessment survey (using mobile application technology and a social marketing approach)
Participatory WASH M&E approach
Expressions of interest are sought from candidates interested in undertaking one or more of the above modules.
