The role
Australian Red Cross conducts and supports a variety of international humanitarian and development assistance programs in the Asia Pacific region and elsewhere, including the training and mobilization of aid workers and volunteers.
This role will coordinate the design and implementation of the pilot of the Australian Red Cross international volunteering program, including consulting with internal stakeholders to develop policies, procedures and guidelines to operationalise the program, and implementing a new online volunteering platform.
About you
You have extensive experience in project/program management of an international volunteer sending program in addition to your strong technical knowledge and experience in all aspects of program management, including design, implementation, financial management, monitoring and evaluation. Experience working overseas as a volunteer or aid worker would be highly regarded.
